Marlon Llana is a Technical and Operations Director at Nanotech Analytical Services and Training Corporation (NASAT).
Marlon graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the Philippines’ very own MIT–the Mapua Institute of Technology. Over the years, he’s worked as a failure analysis and reliability engineer; material development engineer and manufacturing engineering manager at companies like ST Microelectronics and Deca Technologies Inc.
In his current capacity at NASAT, Marlon leads and manages the laboratory operations and its engineers. He also develops training courses on topics like electron microscopy, material science, failure analysis techniques, reliability testing, surface analysis and others. At the same time, he’s taking up his PhD in Materials Sciences as well.
In his free time, Marlon loves watching anime like Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan and Fate Apocrypha. A foodie at heart, he also enjoys drinking to de-stress. Aside from his industry career, Marlon was also formerly an insurance agent, sold real estate, graduated top 2 from a culinary arts school and owns 3 different businesses.
