Ysay Lee is a development and science communication practitioner!
Ysay graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Development Communication (Science Communication) from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, after which she pursued a Master in Disaster Risk and Resilience at the Ateneo de Manila University
While embarking on her Master’s, Ysay managed the Manila Observatory’s multi-media communication efforts during her stint as a research assistant. Since 2019, she has been working as a Communications Officer at the Alliance of Bioversity International and International Center for Tropical Agriculture, managing the Alliance’s internal and external communications.
Beyond her day job, Ysay is also a Climate Reality Leader and an avid fan of musicals. In fact, her top three are: Waitress, Wicked and Dear Evan Hansen (Any other fans in the community?) She is also a seasoned local traveler, having gone to 16/17 regions of the Philippines
