Jose Carlos Ocampo is a licensed professional teacher, psychometrician, and a predoctoral researcher in education from Universidad de Deusto in Spain. His Masters thesis was an action research on developing and implementing a feedback model in classrooms.

Ian Gonzales is a public health physician and field epidemiologist at the Philippine Department of Health – Epidemiology Bureau. His current work focuses on capacity development where he leads the training of future field epidemiologists and other public health workers.

Federick “Fed” Pinongcos is an engineer at Trussell Technologies in San Diego, USA. His Masters thesis explored anthropogenic pollutants during storm events in urban Mediterranean waterways.

Noel Peter Tan is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering and Director of the CANMEET at the University of San Agustin (USA). Noel’s research interests include smart packaging, bioplastics, nano fiber membrane fabrication, and circular economy.

Paul Caesar Flores is a PhD student in Earth Science at the Yokohama National University. For his doctoral thesis, Paul is investigating the mechanism of slow earthquakes in the Nankai Trough.

Llenel “Ellie” De Castro is an archaeologist and community heritage practitioner. Her thesis focused on the impact of archaeology in Palawan’s Dewil Valley.

Philip Cesar Flores is a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Born Institute for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy in Berlin, Germany. His research explored the quantum time of arrival operators, investigating the quantum violation of the weak equivalence principle and the tunneling time problem.

Samantha Maxine Santos is a Space and Data Technology Consultant at Deloitte Adelaide’s Space Advisory practice. Sam specialises in finding ways to integrate space into transformation strategies that address compelling business problems and everyday solutions.

Jelaine Gan is a biologist taking up her PhD in Biology at Newcastle University in the UK. She has published a book entitled “Wild City: A Photographic Guide to Amphibians, Mammals, and Reptiles of Metro Manila”, which encourages Filipinos to explore and learn more about the biodiversity in our cities.

Isabel Martinez is a nutrition scientist who is currently studying her PhD in Nutrition, Dietetics and Food at Monash University, Australia. Her doctoral thesis revolves around exploring gut training as a preventive and management strategy for exercise-associated gastrointestinal symptoms.

Wilfredo Barrera Jr. is taking up his Joint National PhD in Sustainable Development and Climate Change. For his current PhD, Wilfredo is exploring impact and adaptation strategies for crops through the lens of climate change and water resources.

Arielle R. Gamboa is a PhD candidate and graduate research assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the United States. Her recent research work sees her in the Energy Transport Research Lab where she focuses her attention on the field of heat transfer, studying the fundamental physics of liquid cooling for electronics.

Jovale Vincent Tongco is a chemist who specializes in wood chemistry and forest biomaterials. He has worked on a variety of projects exploring the processing and potential uses of lignocellulosic biomass.

Krystel Mae Peñaflor is a licensed forester, conservationist, and climate analyst currently working as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer at Kenelton Engineering Services. She also leads two co-founded youth organizations: Youth Climate Navigators and EmpoWoment Storytellers: Women for Climate and Biodiversity.

Al-Ahmadgaid Asaad is a statistician and data scientist currently working as the manager for Advanced Analytics at Johnson & Johnson, where he leads a team of data scientists that deal with volume/demand forecasting and possess automation, among others..

Lawrence Limjuco is a chemical engineer and senior lecturer at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman, teaching courses for materials science and chemical engineering. He is also leading several DOST projects investigating materials for next generation batteries and policy research for waste-to-energy sustainability.

Mark Jayson Felix is a Senior Science Research Specialist at the Philippine Space Agency under the Earth Sciences Space Mission Studies Division where he puts his expertise on remote sensing to use by conducting research related to water quality and air-water interactions.

Keziah Bartilad is a Senior Science Research Specialist at the Philippine Space Agency. Her work includes the day-to-day operations of the Diwata-2 satellite and other space assets, ground station maintenance and repair campaigns, the creation and updating of standard operating procedures, strategic research and development activities, and the procurement of necessary equipment and spare parts.

John Leur Labrador is the the Chief Science Research Specialist of the Philippine Space Agency’s Spacecraft Mechanical and Autonomous Systems Development Division. He is also a Project Manager for the MULA satellite project, the next-generation Philippine satellite for earth observation.

Princess Cabotaje is a PhD student in Chemistry specialising in Molecular Biomimetics at Uppsala University, Sweden. Her PhD project seeks to utilise the diversity of hydrogenase for energy applications.
