Dainty Clarice Rabang is a geoscientist working as the head of the Climate Resilient Development Section of the Palawan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. She spends her days analyzing geohazard maps and developing plans and projects to improve community resilience.

Joshua Agar is a wind engineer and assistant professor at the UP Diliman currently working on the Multi-Hazard Impact-Based Forecasting – Early Warning System (MHIBF-EWS) Project.

Marco Polo Ibanez, an atmospheric scientist currently working as a science research specialist for DOST – PAGASA where he is making full use of his expertise in Radar and Disdrometer data analysis as a team member for the Volcano, Ocean, Typhoon, and Earthquake (VOTE) Project.

Ria Ysabelle Flora is a physicist, economist, and data scientist currently working as the power solutions lead for Aboitiz Data Innovation where she is utilizing her expertise in data science and artificial intelligence to develop strategies for driving business development..

Rebecca Jean “RJ” Millena is currently taking up her PhD in Comparative Biology from the Richard Gilder Graduate School at the American Museum of Natural History, United States. She is studying twisted-wing insect parasites (Strepsiptera) where she is making thorough use of the collections at the American Museum of Natural History to investigate their host-parasite relationships, evolution, and genomics.

Charles John Gunay is a licensed agricultural and biosystems engineer. His research specializes primarily in hydraulics, water resources engineering, and watershed and dam management.

Mark Ivan Ugalino is a PhD researcher in Astronomy at the University of Maryland, College Park. For his current project, Mark is exploring how magnetic fields grow in Milky Way-type galaxies and investigating its effect on stellar formation, galaxy morphology and cosmic ray transport.

Danielle Pua, MD is a licensed medical doctor by trade. She is currently a research fellow for neuro-immunology at the Multiple Sclerosis Center of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts, USA where she tests various therapies for the management of multiple sclerosis.

Jabez Joshua Flores is an environmental scientist and a senior lecturer at UP Open University and the University of the Philippines Rural High School. In 2022, Jabez took on a number of roles, creating maps as a spatial data scientist at the Pure Earth Blacksmith Institute and starting his fellowship with One Health for the NGOHP Program at St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine.

Gaia Javier is a PhD candidate in Photovoltaic Engineering at the University of New South Wales in Australia. For her doctorate, Gaia is developing quantitative approaches to improve solar cell characterisation and manufacturing.

Mark Joseph Pasciolco is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. As both a biomolecular and licensed chemical engineer, Mac has focused his attention on developing anti-corrosion and anti-biofouling pipe coatings.

Felix Alejandro Camagay specializes in prosthetics and orthotics. He works as a biomedical engineering consultant for Lithe Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. (LitheOP) and is a project manager for the UERM NEOLIMB Center for Research on Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies on Mobility. For his thesis, he developed an estimation tool for peripheral nerve stimulation to be used in neuroprosthetic devices.

Dante Salvador is a medical doctor, epidemiologist, and health economist currently working as a postdoctoral research scientist at the University of Basel’s European Center of Pharmaceutical Medicine, Switzerland. He conducts economic evaluation studies on clinical interventions and public health strategies.

Erinne Ong is a Neuroscience Masters student at the International Max Planck Research School for Neurosciences at the University of Gottingen, Germany. She is currently investigating the role of myelin damage in Alzheimer’s disease.

Philip Martinez is a licensed Electronics Engineer and Senior Science Research Specialist at the Department of Science and Technology – Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST – ASTI).

Jaever Santos is a scientific officer for an Australian national agency. His work deals primarily with taxonomy and biodiversity data, making use of his extensive background in marine and computer science.

Donatela Manlongat is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology. She also spends her time working as a student therapist at numerous clinics around California.

Genea Nichole Cortez is a licensed teacher and a faculty member at the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Santo Tomas. In her free time, Ney is the artist behind Neymatophores, an online and print project depicting the beauty of mangroves.

Heidi Mendoza is a PhD Candidate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam Institute for Environmental Studies in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on stories of drought-to-flood events in the Peruvian Amazon.

Zython Lachica is a global health modeller, universal health care advocate and educator at the University of the Philippines Mindanao. His current role focuses on enhancing health resilience research efforts.
