Biology, EntomologyRebecca Jean “RJ” Millena is currently taking up her PhD in Comparative Biology from the Richard Gilder Graduate School at the American Museum of Natural History, United States. She is studying twisted-wing insect parasites (Strepsiptera) where she is making thorough use of the collections at the American Museum of Natural History to investigate their host-parasite relationships, evolution, and genomics.

Agricultural Engineering, Biosystems EngineeringCharles John Gunay is a licensed agricultural and biosystems engineer. His research specializes primarily in hydraulics, water resources engineering, and watershed and dam management.

Mark Ivan Ugalino
AstronomyMark Ivan Ugalino is a PhD researcher in Astronomy at the University of Maryland, College Park. For his current project, Mark is exploring how magnetic fields grow in Milky Way-type galaxies and investigating its effect on stellar formation, galaxy morphology and cosmic ray transport.

She is currently a research fellow for neuro-immunology at the Multiple Sclerosis Center of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts, USA where she tests various therapies for the management of multiple sclerosis.

Jabez Joshua Flores
Environmental ScienceJabez Joshua Flores is an environmental scientist and a senior lecturer at UP Open University and the University of the Philippines Rural High School. In 2022, Jabez took on a number of roles, creating maps as a spatial data scientist at the Pure Earth Blacksmith Institute and starting his fellowship with One Health for the NGOHP Program at St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine.

Biomechanical Engineering, Biomedical EngineeringFelix Alejandro Camagay specializes in prosthetics and orthotics. He works as a biomedical engineering consultant for Lithe Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. (LitheOP) and is a project manager for the UERM NEOLIMB Center for Research on Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies on Mobility. For his thesis, he developed an estimation tool for peripheral nerve stimulation to be used in neuroprosthetic devices.

Epidemiology, MedicineDante Salvador is a medical doctor, epidemiologist, and health economist currently working as a postdoctoral research scientist at the University of Basel’s European Center of Pharmaceutical Medicine, Switzerland. He conducts economic evaluation studies on clinical interventions and public health strategies.
