Meet Flor Cobar, a Master’s student in Pharmaceutical Modelling at Uppsala University, Sweden.
Flor graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at Centro Escolar University (CEU) Manila, where she also subsequently finished as a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). After obtaining a PharmD, she then taught in CEU Manila and Makati for two years before coming to Uppsala University on a university scholarship.
In her current degree, Flor applies theoretical and practical knowledge of advanced modelling techniques including computational chemistry, machine learning and bioinformatics to drug discovery, development and usage.
