Meet Dr. Christian Gloria, an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Public Health at Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. His latest research examines the mental health of Filipinos from Pampanga, where he investigates the factors that enable people to adapt, grow and thrive against chronic stress and adversity.
Before taking up his current position, Christian earned his BS in Kinesiology, MA in Health Education and PhD in Health Behavior & Health Education at the University of Texas at Austin.
He is also currently a Balik Scientist at the Philippine Council for Health Research & Development, where he collaborates with universities like Angeles University Foundation, University of the Assumption and University of San Agustin on projects related to public health and mental health.
