Taking over this week is BA Racoma, a PhD student in Meteorology as well as Atmosphere, Oceans and Climate at the University of the Philippines and University of Reading. Previously, BA graduated with a MS in Geology and BS in Applied Physics from UP Diliman.
Before undertaking his PhD, BA worked in disaster risk reduction and management (data analysis, IT, and communications) for 7 years before starting his PhD. Currently, his research tackles tropical cyclones and rainfall over the Philippine mountain ranges.
In his free time, BA enjoys making memes! He is also a licensed scuba diver and has been featured on FHM. Twice. Who else is looking forward to BA’s takeover this week?
