Science Field: Mechanical Engineering

Julius Lustro is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UP Diliman. Julius now teaches fluids and thermal engineering courses and has led further projects on turbulence and indoor air quality.

Kimberly “Kim” Lagrama is a materials engineer and tribologist working on the construction of the European Spallation Source in Sweden as a Lead Design Engineering and Piping Engineering Specialist.

Arielle R. Gamboa is a PhD candidate and graduate research assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the United States. Her recent research work sees her in the Energy Transport Research Lab where she focuses her attention on the field of heat transfer, studying the fundamental physics of liquid cooling for electronics.

Ray graduated with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman. He also holds an Assistant Professor position at the De La Salle University Manila.

Clint John Otic, an Engineering doctoral student at Japan’s Tohoku University. Clint focuses on computational fluid dynamics, with an emphasis on rarefied gas or micro/nanoscale flows .

Paul Baniqued is a biomedical engineer, currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds, UK, where his study aims to improve the functionality of brain-computer interfaces (BCI) and robotics for stroke rehabilitation..
