Looking to share your story? Here’s how: We invite STEM and social sciences practitioners of Filipino descent to share their stories on Pinoy Scientists. Priority will be given to those who are currently working, as well as studying tertiary and advanced degrees.

- Sure! While Pinoy Scientists typically features postgraduate students or working professionals, the platform occasionally features exceptional high school or college students on a case-to-case basis. Sign up here
- Pinoy Scientists operates on a sign up basis. If you know someone who’d be perfect for a takeover, kindly tell them to sign up here.
- Majority of the featured scientists are those who have signed up for the platform. However, we sometimes hold open calls for contributors in specific fields and invite connections from professional platforms like LinkedIn. From the pool of sign ups and invitees, contributors are then shortlisted according to the following criteria: gender, location, discipline (we like to have a good mix). Contributors are then scheduled according to their availability.
- During takeovers, contributors curate Pinoy Scientists’ Instagram and Facebook pages for one week—from posting photos, videos, and stories; answering questions; as well as engaging with the wider scientific community. Shortlisted contributors will be sent a guide with detailed description of what to do and what sort of topics to post.
- Sadly, no! Pinoy Scientists is a platform for scientists to share their inspiring stories, not to advise students on their thesis/experiments. But we believe in you and know that you can do it!
