For this week’s takeover, we’re heading to San Francisco.
Meet Dr. Eric Jay Daza, a senior statistician in data science at Clarify Health, a digital health/healthcare tech company improving care through software solutions for patients, clinicians, providers and payers.
Eric started his scientific journey at Cornell University where he took up his Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology/Cognitive Studies and Master of Professional Studies in Applied Statistics. He then earned his doctoral degree in Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
A renaissance man, Eric is also a licensed concert pianist who loves writing music, playing the piano and listening to the soundtracks and scores of films and video games. He is also an avid rock climber and is trained in basic Krav Maga, the self defense system used by the Israeli Defense Forces, as well as basic survival techniques.
