This week, we’re joined by Charlotte Gallardo, a registered pharmacist as well as a regulatory and start up specialist at health tech company IQVIA.
Charlotte graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Pharmacy from the University of the Philippines Manila. After graduating, she quickly set to work, joining pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson as a business quality assistant and a transformation regulatory affairs coordinator. There, she supported the medical devices sector to ensure overall quality and compliance to corporate global policies and local regulatory requirements, among other job requirements.
At IQVIA, Charlotte performs start up and site activation activities like prepping site regulatory documents, project planning and making project timelines.
Outside of work, Charlotte is a certified Swiftie and has started learning Taylor Swift’s songs on guitar. Coincidentally enough, her birthday also falls in World Pharmacists’ Day (25 September)–making her choice of career especially appropriate!
Charlotte also loves to make a difference through volunteering. In fact, the last outreach she attended before the pandemic was at an orphanage in Parañaque. She believes it is important that we help each other and give back to the community especially during these times.
